Among the most memorable are the exclusive realization of specific hot runners for POM that allowed Silge to become one of the top national players in the cassette market by exporting its molds in over 30 countries.

Silge was born from an intuition of Giovanni Pigola who, thanks to the experience gained in the world of molding and mechanics, at the age of 23 decides to found his company in Cernusco sul Naviglio, a small town in the Martesana area near Milan.

Initially Silge, managed together with other family members, focuses on the construction of mechanical components for third parties before converging exclusively on injection molds.

The market reacts in the best possible way, allowing Giovanni to surround himself with important collaborators, some of whom still assist him today in his daily work.

The production is mainly directed towards the floriculture sector, in which Giovanni expresses flair and skill in the design of new articles, in the aesthetic of the molds and in the application of new mechanical solutions. At this time the first contacts with the medical sector also begin.
